Worship Wednesday

Sometime in the past year I discovered SheReadTruth.com. I am so glad I did.  I have immensely enjoyed the studies I have participated in.  My favorite so far has been the one on Titus, I wrote a little bit about what I learned in that one HERE.  I am really excited about the Advent one coming up.

This week they are doing a short series on Hymns.  I LOVE hymns.  There is just something about them. Yesterday's was this one...

The corresponding devotional on #shereadstruth spoke to my heart.  Talking about how our worth comes from Him.  That we need to be sure our hearts our in tune with His will.

You will show me the path of life;
In Your presence is fullness of joy;
At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.

I am praying for you today...

Sitting here in the quiet morning. I refuse to be sad things are different. Instead I lift you each in prayer. Thankful we are still joined, sisters in Christ no matter where the road. The circumstances take us.

Lately I have been reading and studying a lot with the girls over at #SheReadsTruth. I am excited about the plans they have lined up for the rest if the year. Especially the Advent one {O Come Let Us Adore Him}... For this one I am even considering purchasing the study pack-- though you can participate for free just by following on their website.

Today's devo was a benediction, the conclusion of the study on 1 & 2 Peter. A reminder to strive to always grow, be immersed in him. To let Him lift our anxieties and burdens.
Therefore, dear friends, since you have been forewarned, be on your guard so that you may not be carried away by the error of the lawless and fall from your secure position.  But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever! Amen.
2 Peter 3:17-18 NIV

Where have your devos taken you lately???  What is God speaking to your heart?

Won't you join me in the upcoming Advent study...
